Craig has over 20 years structured finance experience, spanning both the private and public sides of investment banking, gained in Australia, Europe and Asia.  Most recently, Craig held the position of Managing Director, Deutsche Bank Global Markets (London & Hong Kong) until 2012.

Craig has originated and executed corporate transactions across debt instruments (loans and issuances), equity raisings, leasing, hybrids (convertibles and preference shares), project financing, securitisation, principal investments, acquisitions, divestments, cross border financing and derivative instruments. Craig has specialist skills across all aspects of corporate treasury functions, covering finance, credit, tax, accounting, regulatory environments and law.

 

JOE NAKAT

Joe is a seasoned investment & finance professional having over 25 years financial markets experience. 

Joe has held senior positions at various multinational investment banks (Managing Director roles at NatWest Markets, Citigroup, Deutsche Bank, and UBS).  In these roles, Joe was responsible for the identification, development and execution of numerous multi-$Billion structured finance and capital markets transactions.

 

tom lennox

Tom is a partner at Mills Oakley, Sydney and specialises in structured finance across a range of asset classes including real estate, debt, transport assets and infrastructure. Tom has advised sponsors and lenders on a wide range of such matters in Australia, the United Kingdom, China and the United States.

Tom specialises in drafting and negotiating all types of debt arrangements including single and multiple financier facilities, limited recourse finance documentation including note programs, security arrangements and inter-creditor agreements. The structures frequently involve cross border structuring issues.

Tom was the general counsel of Allco Finance Group and oversaw the development and sale of multiple projects and funds.

 

simon wan

Simon Wan has been an international hotelier for more than 30 years and worked for a number of large international hotel groups such as Holiday Inn, Hyatt, Southern Pacific Hotel Corporation, Park Plaza and Accor.

Currently, Simon is the President & Director of StayWell, a company which he started over seven years ago.

Prior to StayWell, Simon was the CEO/Managing Director of an ASX listed hotel company Tourism, Hotels and Leisure Ltd. for five years which has a network of 530 hotels around the world. He was also the Managing Director of the Park Plaza Hotel Group for Asia Pacific between 1997 to 2002 and before that he was the CEO for North Asia of Accor, based in Beijing, overseeing a hotel portfolio of 68 hotels in that region.

Simon, a seasoned hotelier, has been instrumental in developing a portfolio of over 35 properties for StayWell in Indonesia, United Arab Emirates, India, Singapore and multiple properties in Australia including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Cairns, Townsville and Launceston, with additional properties under development in China, India and the United Kingdom.
